1970 Mustang Fastback Boss 302 Clone 1970 Mustang Fastback Boss 302 clone, Boss decals have been added. The front and rear spoiler were installed and the rear louvers will be installed also. The very rare hood mounted Tach was installed and it works great. The paint has been wet sanded and buffed. Automatic transmission, Power Steering, Air Conditioning. This is a nice street driven Mustang fastback that has been restored. It has been painted three years and front and rear bumpers and all weather stripping have been replaced. It was not done to as a concourse show car, but as a very nice street driven car that is in very good mechanical condition. Engine: The engine was rebuilt when the restoration was done three years ago and about 6500 miles since it was done. The heads have the harden seats installed along with new pistons, cam and cam bearings, rings. A new water pump, alternator, power steering pump and belts were replaced. The headers are hooker and have been Jet hot coated. The Holley carburetor is new and the intake is new. The Air condition system was rebuilt, to include new condenser, dryer, compressor and lines. Suspension: The upper ball joints were replaced along with the lower control arms and all tie rods and idler arm and bushings. The power steering control valve and slave unit was rebuilt. The tires are new and the 15x7 magnum wheels were replaced with new ones. The transmission was rebuilt last year. Interior: The interior was restored to like new condition, with new carpet, seat covers are original, headliner and door panels are new. A new dash pad cover lay was installed. A new radio AM/FM Cassette was installed. Body: the body is good, not perfect but looks real straight and the paint was done about 3 years ago. The floor pans have had some repair but they look good now. The left quarter has had some repair also. When this restoration was done it was done as a Boss 302 clone. It does have the front & rear spoiler Option. This is not a Matching number car. But it is an F code 302 fastback mustang that I would drive anywhere and show it any time. IT HAS A LOT OF ATTITUDE!!
