1967 GT Ford Fairlane 390 “S” 4-Speed National Fairlane Club of America First Place winner 2005 Kingsport Tenn. This is a Documented 1967 GT Fairlane. I have the Factory Build sheet and the MartiAutoWorks Deluxe report showing It is a true GT 390 “S” code Fairlane, it is a Matching numbers car. The car was built in Atlanta GA and shipped to GREATER LUFKIN FORD Lufkin Texas AND WAS BUILT ON 3/03/67 AND WAS SOLD ON 03/21/67. The options were: 4 speed, 3.25 Equa-lock axle ratio. Springtime Yellow, black Vinyl bucket seats, F70 -14 inch tires and style steel wheels, Factory Tachometer on dash. Power disc-Brakes and Heavy duty suspension, factory clock. The Vintage Air condition was added when the restoration was done too include a new radio and CD player and they are out of site in the glove box along with the controls for the A/C. They were installed perfectly. The restoration of the interior was done to include the replating dash bezels, restoring the original Woodgrain Steering wheel seat covers, headliner, Carpet scuff plates, sunvisors, Door panels, Weather-stripping. The dash pad is original and is in perfect shape. The engine has been rebuilt and it runs great! It has new FoMoCo Radiator hoses and correct hose clamps. It still has the factory Air Cleaner with the chrome lid replated and the factory original valve covers were replated to. The battery cables are reproduction Autolite and are correct for this year, it has the A/C 3 flew Radiator to keep it cool. The carburetor is correct and has been restored to show. The intake has been changed to Aluminum and painted the correct Ford blue. The Air Condition is made by Vintage Air and uses the 134A feon. The controls for the A/C are located in the glove box along with the SONY Am/Fm CD player, a very nice installation. Transmission: is a 4 speed top loader with the correct shifter and has no leaks and works Great! Body: the paint is very nice and the body is straight, with rechromed front and rear bumpers and new fairlane letters on both quarters’ panels, the trunk GT emblem is new and the trunk molding is refinished to new condition. The out side door handles have also been replated and a new GT emblem is on the grill. The rear tail light housings have been replated also. The body has the original floor pans and original doors, fenders quarters and no rust repair that I could find. New weather stripping was installed on roof rails, doors, trunk belt liners. Suspension: the suspension has been detailed and any part that needed replacing was done and it drives like it has power steering, a very great driving car. New shocks front and rear and dual exhaust with flow masters. The wheels are the original factory style steel wheels that came on the car and have 205/70/14 BFGoodrich tires on the front and on the rear 235/70/14. This GT Ford Fairlane is just beautiful, it can be shown or better it can be driven. With the power disc-brakes and the Vintage A/C system it is a very drivable. I have looked for a long time to find a Factory GT that is documented as well as this one, I do have the factory build sheet and also the Marti Auto report showing it is a TRUE GT.
