1967 Mustang Convertible A code 289 4 barrel This is a 1967 Mustang convertible has been restored to MCA standards, it has some of the best options that were available in 1967. Starting with factory power steering, power disc-brakes, power top, air condition, automatic transmission, remote outside mirror, turn signal hood, wheel opening moldings, rocker panel moldings, luggage rack, console, am/fm cassette radio. It has the 289 A code engine which is a 4 barrel and it runs great, it is a matching number car. The three speed Automatic transmission is the original option for this car and it shifts perfect. It has the factory style steel wheels with the correct trim rings and center caps, the tires are Michelin radials white walls and are in like new condition. The exhaust system has been replaced during the restoration and was done with the factory style single exhaust system. Interior: the interior was completely restored. It had new door panels, seat covers, carpet, kick panels, quarter trim, arm rests, scuff plates, dash pad, instrument cluster and lens, dash panel over the glove box has been replaced, convertible chrome header bar, sunvisor brackets, padded sun visors, convertible top boot, trunk mat and all weather stripping, to include doors, trunk, convertible top weather stripping, belt liners (felt). Engine: is original to the car and it has been rebuilt and detailed during the restoration. New hoses, belts, sending units, water pump, starter motor, radiator, p/steering pump and hoses, alternator, carburetor. It runs great, with no problems. It is a 289 4 barrel that came in the car. Suspension: the power steering works great and drives like new. The brakes have been rebuilt to include the Master cylinder and booster. New shocks were installed, front and rear. The lower control arms have been replaced along with the tie rods and idler arm bushings. The sway bar bushings were replaced also. It drives like new. This is a great car to drive and show in the driver class at any MCA car show. The paint is just beautiful and the body lines are straight. The floor pans are very clean and are with out any under coating so you can see how nice the restoration is and how solid the body is. This convertible has been driven less than seven thousand miles since the restoration, I have done all of the maintenance on this car for the last 5 years.
