Vehicle Description:

1967 Ford Mustang Fastback

Vin: 7T02C259578

This is a great mustang, I have the complete history and it had two owners till I bought it. The Mustang was sold in Albany Ga. The car was sold on July the 5th 1967 by Haley Motor company Albany Ga. I do have the original owners manual and warranty card, I also have state inspections and service records from the first owner and the Ford salesmen’s card that sold it. The original owner sold it in January 1977 and the new owner bought it with 65000 miles on it, the second owner started restoring the mustang in 1984 with 120000 miles on it. The engine was rebuilt 5/20/1984, the work was done at Hal Reed machine shop Alpharetta Ga. The engine was bore to 30 over and new forged flat top pistons were installed, the original crank was standard so new bearings are standard and the engine was balanced. The original heads were replaced with 1969 351W with the larger valves and harden seats. A new Cobra intake and 1.12 Autolite Carburetor from Pony Carburetor’s were installed. The engine dress up kit with the Cobra aluminum valve covers and chrome air cleaner and oil cap. The original distributor with Pertronix Ignitor kit was installed. The original starter and alternator where rebuilt, New Ford Radiator ( C9ZZ-B) date code is 3L8. All of the restoration was done at 120k miles and it now has 28991, it has had 8991 miles on it since the restoration. The miles at 10 Sept-1999 were 27272 and 19 Sept 2000 27813, 11th July 2003 28302, Dec,31st 2004 28500,10th July 2006 28700, 13th Nov-2007 28950 and now has 28991. The paint work was done by Phil Harris ( Woodstock Paint and body ) Base/coat/clear coat Vintage burgundy X code and the paint still looks like new. Most parts were Ford, all weather stripping, roofrail, doors, trunk, beltliners, windshield gasket and rear glass gasket was Ford. The emblems, rocker panels moldings, hood molding, trunk letters and trunk moldings, tail light doors, bumpers front and rear are Ford, outside door handles, remote mirror, dash pad upper and lower are Ford. Like new, reproduction seat covers, door panels, carpet, kick panels, scuff plates, Headliner, sunvisors, Instrument cluster bezel, dash trim panels and instrument cluster lens and still has the original working AM radio. The interior is just great, very clean and it looks like it was just done. The paint is very nice, yes it had a few chips but I have touched them up. I also have installed a new hood turn signal wiring harness. The bottom of the car has most of the original paint and seam sealer, just can not tell you how nice the original red oxide paint is. The car did not have any rust problems, just solid metal.

The car came with a 3 speed manual Transmission, a rebuilt Dan Williams N.C. 4 speed (wide ratio) transmission was installed along with a B/W clutch disc and a Ram pressure plate, an original 4 speed shifter with new shifter rods were installed, and it shifts perfect. The rear end is original 8 inch with 2.80. The wheels are 1968 style steel wheels with 205/70/14 tires, I do have available a set of 1967 style steel wheels and I will have pictures of them on the car. It is an option at (no) additional cost.

This car is just beautiful inside and out, it is very rare to fine a 1967 fastback Mustang in this condition and having the paper work to follow the owner ship of this car, I have pictures of the restoration, including the engine being rebuilt and pictures of being shown at car shows. I also have the build sheets, yes two of them. If you look at some of the pictures, the interior color looks bright red, I have taken some interior pictures with out the flash and you can see that it is dark red and matches the original colors. If you ever wanted a documented car this is it. I have taken pictures of the car with a different set of wheels and tires, they are 17x7 on the front and 17x8 on the rear and they have new tires on them also, this option cost is $1500.00.
