1970 Ford Mustang Convertible VIN# 0F03F192255 This is a 1970 Mustang Convertible 302 - 2 barrel automatic C4 transmission with power steering, power top, and drum brakes. This is a local Columbia, South Carolina Mustang that sold new at Pulliam Ford, a one owner. I restored this car for the owner about 17 years ago. He drove it very little - it now has 73k miles on it. The paint still looks good; it had a few paint chips but I have touched them up and buffed out so it has a great shine to it. The convertible top still looks good and does not need replacing; it has the folding rear glass and I repaired the silicone hinge. When I restored the interior, I installed new seat covers, carpet, door panels, sun-visors, dash pad, scuff plates and weather stripping around door s and windshield posts which were NOS Ford parts. The carpet is showing some fading but it still looks great. The seat covers, dash pad, and door panels look new. I replaced the front and rear bumpers and installed new outside door handles, wiper blades and a new pop-open gas cap along with new scuff plates. I have also installed a new battery and I rebuilt the carburetor. I checked it over and after the tune up, it runs great. I replaced the front tires with 205/75/14; pulled all brake drums. I checked the brakes and repacked the wheel bearings; lubed the car and changed the oil and oil filter. If you are looking for a daily driver, this is it! It looks like a show car but it is a great driver. It has a few paint bubbles in the bottom of the doors but very minor and some bubbling on one of the rear quarter panel. I’m selling it as is for a very reasonable price. The floor pans, torque boxes, frame rails are original. With a new set of Magnum 500 Wheels, this car would be extra nice!!!
