1970 Mustang Mach 1 351 Cleveland 4 barrel This is a beautiful 1970 Mach 1 that was finished in 2007 and has won many awards for Best paint, Best engine, Best in show and many first place awards. In fact this is the second Mustang that I have bought from John’s collection of cars and yes this was his personal car that he said he would never sell. He does a great restoration. The engine was rebuilt and I have the invoices and spec’s on every thing that was done to the engine, which goes with the car including most of the invoices for parts and some labor plus the Marti-Auto report. No this is not a matching number car on everything, but is great restoration of the Interior, Body paint, Mechanicals. With unbelievable House of colors paint work which really does not show how nice it is in the pictures, but when the sunlight hits it, WATCH OUT!! The engine is a 351 Cleveland with 351 2 barrel heads that was rebuilt with harden valve seats and ports matched to the polished Elderbrock intake and Edlerbrock 4 barrel Carburetor. The cam spec’s are Crane Cam’s lift is 554 intake and exhaust, duration is 284 Hydraulic, part number is 133052 for Boss 351/351 Cleveland. Pistons are Keith Black .20 over, valve springs are dual, part number-Crane 99893-16, oil pump is Milling High-Volume-Mel-M84AHV, Rod bearings are 10 along with main crank bearings are 10 and rings are Keith Black file to fit rings. Engine was balanced. A new aluminum water pump, new MSD pro-Billet distributor, MSD Ignition control 6A, new MSD Blaster coil, and New MSD Heli-core spark plug wire set. New chrome fuel pump and braided fuel line hose. New radiator, new radiator hose’s, belts, new electric fan and it has a 6 blade fan also. ( I may remove fan blade and detail water pump back to aluminum color and the same with the new alternator). The engine runs great it has a lot of torque and Hp should be in the 375 hp range. Transmission: the transmission is a C-6 completely rebuilt and it has a TCI- 451300 torque converter 2000 rpm stall. It also has the FMS- M-7194-C6 trans-pan chrome. Suspension: The upper control arms were rebuilt and the lower ones were replaced, all inner and outer tie rods are new, along with the idler arm. The power steering control valve and slave cylinder were replaced with rebuilt units and the coil springs seats, coil springs, strut rod bushings and sway bar bushings were replaced with new ones. All of the power steering lines are new. The front brakes are power disc- brakes and the rotors were replaced and calipers were rebuilt with new disc-brake pads, the front and rear shocks are new and they are KYB’s.The front end is great. The rear-end is a 9”with 28 splines with 3.64 gears and Posi-track that was just rebuilt. The rear brakes are drum with new wheel cylinders and brake shoes, one new brake drum was installed. New rear leaf springs and shackle kits were installed. New gas tank and sending unit was installed. The exhaust system is new with Flow master mufflers, and headers. The wheels and tires were installed at the time of restoration, wheels are Hopston 16X7 on front with 215X65X16 Goodyear and Hopston 16X8 on rear with 255X55X16 General Grabbers tires, the mileage on car since restoration is less than 1500 miles. Heater box restored with new heater core and seal kit. No holes cut in interior trim panels. Seat belts restored to like new condition. Just a great interior package! Body: the paint work is just out of this world, the paint is the three stage House of Color Lime gold Metallic, first you paint the car with sliver metallic, then you put four coats of Lime Gold metallic and then you put on another four coats of clear, it is like painting the car four times, very hard to do and this car has never been wet (color) sanded it is just like it came out of the paint gun and still looks wet, Just a super nice paint and body work. The two front floor pans where replaced, The bumpers front and rear were replaced with new ones along with outside door handles decals, front spoiler, rear spoiler, Radio antenna, hood locks, grill, windshield(tinted and shaded) and all glass has been tinted. It has a new trim molding set for the tail light panel to include the honey comb panel and the trim moldings for the rocker panels are new also. This is just one beautiful car and it drives great and it needs nothing but a new owner. His last car sold for over $42500.00, this one is for sale at: $34,500
